im becoming a real bright spark!

i am so happy, so so so happy. on one of my science courseworks i got the grade back today! i got 7/8 planning, 7/8 results, 6/8 analysis&conclusion and 4/6 evaluation! which is a high B, plus my teacher said when it gets sent to the examiner it could be a A as he marks them so theres a chance mark could go up and if i wanna next year i can improve the analysis&conclusion and the evalution. so its all good! im doing well and all the hard work i have put into these courseworks the last few weeks is really paying off, so right now im in a well good mood!

also last night was our leaders dinner. it was lovely - both food (thanks rosemary) and everyones company. charlie is really going to be missed by us all, as will the leaders who are stepping down from leadership this year. everyone has really served God and the young people this past year, so a big weldone and thank you to everyone. xx

Spain on saturday! whooooooooo

Tonight was so much fun, infinity went to the park to play rounders. It was such a laugh and I really enjoyed it. Was Charlie’s last infinity as well as some of the other guys. I really want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Charlie, for been a great mate and great youth worker, you have been a star and a real blessing and inspiration to me :+) also want to say a big thank you to Daniel, for all you have done been the youth intern this past year. You have done such a good job, really encouraged us and are such a good mate to me, so well done for all your hard work. I really am praying for both of you, as you get ready to move on. So infinity is over for the summer. Next time infinity starts; there will be new faces as well as a new youth intern and new youth worker. I will be praying for everyone from infinity, have a good summer, tonight will not be forgotten in a hurry, neither will all the memories we have of this past year...

sum up

The coursework load is complete FINALLY! I stayed up on Saturday night until about 12-30 finishing my science coursework and tonight when I got in from church I have being doing my English coursework and have just finished it now at 11pm! I’m so pleased it is done though, now I have a 4 and half-day week and the summer holiday begins.

Church was good. This afternoon we all went for a picnic. I really enjoyed it, as it was a chance for us to feel like such a family. All different ages attended and it was an enjoyable day. Karen was at church tonight and it was great to see her! HAPPY 21st Birthday for Monday 18 July 2005 Karen! Hope you have a great day!

Tomorrow is our last infinity. Charlie is going to be missed by us all greatly, as will Dan, who has done a great job as our youth intern this past year. Today was my last TGIs before summer as I am going to be in Spain next week for their last Sunday morning meeting of this school year! But I’m here for their last rock solid on Friday so that is cool.

Talking about Spain, tonight I noticed something in my TGI cell outline for next week which could be an answer to something I have been praying about, but we will have to wait and see.

Well I am off to bed, I am so tired!

Also before I forget, I got the top of my ear pierced again yesterday so I now have 11 piercing! It’s mad!

Have a good week everyone, God bless you all lots and lots xxx

enjoyable night

had a good day today. year 6s came up to school for their induction day, you forget when year11 leave how quiet school becomes and how its not crowded, today it was packed! also weird to think...this is the last time my year are there to expierence that, this time next year we will be gone! im looking forward to it though. i had to do prefect duty at lunch with my mate, it wasnt my day to do it but the guy he was meant to be doing it with didnt turn up, some of the kids listen to what you say but there were a few expectations. i then this afternoon helped with the year6 assembly by showing them a game we play in drama. this was great because it finished at 2-40 and those of us helping were allowed to go home, so i was home by 3 :+) this is my last summer at high school! i cant wait until this week over and i can hand in all my coursework and not have to think about it! ive just completed my other english, and now have one science to do and then its finished! i cant wait! have until monday to do it!

tonight i went to nandos with Lynsey, i had a really nice time, after i went to the park with daniel, rob, tasha and hannah, which was a laugh, me and dan only stayed for about hour and half and then mum got us. but i had a nice night, thanks guys xx

God NEVER leaves us

good or bad, God will be there. i really want to share with everyone the prayers i prayed tonight at church. they took me ages to write because i prayed for ages before writting them. i just want to share them with everyone....

Be humble under God’s powerful hand so he will lift you up when the right time comes. Give all your worries to him, because he cares about you. Control yourselves and be careful! The devil your enemy, goes around like a roaring lion looking for someone to eat. Refuse to give in to him, by standing strong in your faith. 1 Peter 5 v6-9

Father, today we think of all those who have been affected by what happened on Thursday in London. Father we pray for the people who were in central London on Thursday that were caught in these terrorist attacks, we pray for your protection on those injured and seriously hurt and those who are suffering from shock. We pray for the family and friends of those who have been killed, father comfort them at this time and send your angels around them as they mourn for their loved ones. We pray for all the emergency services and doctors who have been in London doing their best to help all who have been caught in this awful time. We pray father that as they will be tired you give them strength and lift them up, we pray for them for the things they have seen and dealt with that you just help for them to feel at peace and know they have done their job and tried to help. Father today we really do just lift all those that have been affected by July 7.

Father we pray for Tony Blair and the Queen as this is going to be a hard time for them. We pray for them that you would give them guidance and know what to say to the public. We pray father, as this will have affected them emotionally, as well as each individual that you bless them and send your love out to them.

We pray for the success of live 8. Father thank you for all those celebrates who gave up their time to put on this concert. Father we really do pray for those affected by poverty and we pray that 2005 would be the year when we can MAKE POVERTY HISTORY. We also thank you that some decisions have been made following the G8 this week, we pray those decisions will be carried out.

Father we pray as London has got the Olympics in 2012. We pray now over the next 7years and it will be prepared that it would be a calm time and not a mad rush and all though it seems ages away at the minute we pray father as people celebrate that we have been successful in getting the Olympics that it would be a calm time.

Father we pray for all those that are in need at this time and we think of those who’s name we know and lift them up to you now…

We also lift up to you those names in which we don’t know, we pray you send your protection and comfort to all those who are in need at this time what ever their situation.

Father when all goes wrong we pray we can look towards the cross and know you love us unconditionally and forgive us for all we do wrong. Father as this week has been upsetting due to what has happened in London we pray that we can look towards the cross and see hope for the near future.

Father we pray as summer approaches, and Charlie and the Interns get ready to move on, that you would really be there with Charlie, Daniel, Miriam, Tim and Gordon as they get ready to go into their new jobs. We pray you would really bless them Lord and we pray they know how thankful we all are for the work they have done. We pray for Andy Humm, as he gets ready to start this new job, we pray he would feel welcomed and would settle in quickly. Father we pray he would feel welcomed by us all. We also pray for ignite and Soul survivor that those going on either of these events would really meet with you.

Father we pray for our town that all those in our town would know of your love and any one in trouble would know of your protection. We pray for our world and the different problems in our world. We think of those suffering from famine, aids and natural disasters. When it is so easy to think of the bad in our world we also thank you for the good, for the determination Britain still has to beat terrorism and evil and destruction.
Lord we just really lift these prayers up to you now. Amen x

i really want to echo once again the part ive put in bold about the cross, this is so true and can be so easily forgotten in tough times, guys God is there, he never leaves us or stops loving us. when we feel like we are on top of the moon, or when we are feeling really low, God is still going to love us and will still be there with us. hope you all have a good week, God bless x

rock solid

today was my first rock solid of doing TGIs. i arrived at 6 and help the guys set up and then we prayed. charlie asked me to be on the door and im really pleased i was, it ment i could get to know the guys and girls names and one of the girls sat with me for the whole time and we had a really nice chat. then matt and hannah did an olympics style thing with our cells, it was such a laugh and so much fun. i enjoyed it and it gave me a chance to get to know my cell whilst doing a team work activity. cell was good, i enjoyed it. i really feel God is going to use me in exciting ways and i pray il be a good role model to the girls in my cell as well as all of TGIs. our theme tonight was about london and the bombings. my prayers are out to all those effected by the terrible bombs which happened yesterday. x

God is awesome

God is really and truely awesome. ive been finding my science coursework a bit hard and today i was walking into my class, my teacher said to me that the teacher who helps out in our class who is a doctor of science wanted to check my work through and help me in order for me to get the best grade im capable of. i really was so thankful to God. i have been praying that i would understand this coursework clearer and tasha had even let me look at the coursework she had done when she was at high school to try and help me, bless her. (thanks tasha!) so this guy helped me and has shown me things to devleop and so i am going to type up my work tonight and next lesson he will help me with it again. i really am so thankful to God.

also want to say thank you to Miriam, Gill, Charlie and Rob, for listening to me over the last few days and really been such a support. you lot are stars. and thank you to Hannah for praying with me :+)
