general hello

well thought id post a general blog saying hello!! nothing extremly exciting has happened since i last posted!! church on sunday was pretty good, the harvest celebration we did in the morning i really enjoyed and we sang a song and watching the young church worship God to it was so sweet and really awesome to watch and be a part of.

infinity yesterday was all about love and different forms of love. love between friends, love between familes, love between boyfriends and girlfriends and love from God which is unconditional. so infinity was pretty cool and i was part of a role play in which we did!!

school has been ok. its amazing how quickly the year is going, always been told year11 flys by but it really is!! its the holiday in a month, then our mocks and then it will be chirstmas and before we know it we will be leaving!!!!

oh yeh and i have finally sorted out my ipod you will be glad to know!! so tonight i am putting all the songs onto it which will be cool. and then i can listen to all my favourite songs non stop!

first day!

my first day of work yesterday was great. i really enjoyed it although my legs were quite tired by the end of the day!! i arrived at 11-50 ready to start at 12, for the first hour i walked around the shop getting used to where things were. after about 20mins a lady asked me where something was and i knew :+) so was quite pleased with myself. then for the next hour i was shown safety points, the warehouse and told after different department codes. went for 30mins lunch after that and met hannah rob and tasha which was cool. when i returned to work i was trained on the til and after about a hour i was left on my own to be on the til which was cool and it was pretty easy i just have to get used to department numbers. then for the last 45mins i hovered the shop and then my day at work was finished....i enjoyed it a lot, its not too tiring and the girls i work with are lovely.

today my bro and his girlfriend are coming round for lunch (not sure if i metioned they have moved out now!) and then this afternoon i am meeting the guys and we are going to chill out before church tonight. church this morning was really good, it was a all age service and we did a really cool song in which the young church danced to :+)

does anyone know how to link your ipod up when there is already itunes on the computer because my brother has a ipod linked to this computer and im not sure how to link another ipod to it aswell!! so if you do know, or if you know u dont need the internet to use your ipod let me know please!!

prison!

so yeah yesterday we had a talk from an ex prisoner. it was so intresting. i found it so intresting hearing why the guy got into prison in the first place and how a lot of it was related to when he was younger and things going on at home leading him to get into the wrong crowd. the guy talked all about different types of drugs and why they are so addictive and what can happen when you use them wrong. he told us why drugs and crime are linked and told us about crimes he comitted. we also saw pictures of people who has been beaten up whilst in prison. we found out that female prisons are worse than males. all in all the talk was really intresting and i got a lot out of listening to it and got a bigger understanding in why people do the things they do for their drug habbits and why it leads to people been put in prison.

so ive learnt a lot more about prisons and what causes people to go to prison.

i also had a careers interview yesterday with a lady from connexions. it was pretty intresting, we chatted about what i want to do when leaving school and what i want to do in the future. for those of you who dont know i want to do some form of youth worker, maybe with young offenders. and i am praying now about which college to go to, one college is really on my heart at the minute.

this week

this week has been a mix of events, some good and some bad. the good points of this week have been my birthday, my birthday party and just having awesome mates,who are there to share good and sad times :+) the theme of both infinity and tgis was friendships and about friendships been a two way thing, want you want to recieve from a friendship you have to be prepared to give in a friendship. i am so thankful to all my friends, i love each and everyone of them and i am so lucky to have the most amazing friends, who love me through everything.

there have been some sad times this week aswell, the main sad thing which has happened this week is one of Tashas friends mum has passed away. i have just started to become friends with this girl and my prayers are with her and her family as these next few weeks are going to be extremely difficult.

i want to say a special thank you to Tasha in this post, we have shared happy and sad times and this week Tasha has still had the time to talk to me and support me when i have felt down and i love her. she is a star and a angel xxx

God has answered some prayers for me this week, i had drifted a bit from one of my closest mates and this last couple of weeks we have become really close again and i would say this is proberly the closest we have been. another prayer which has been answered is i have been praying for people at school that i can share my faith with them. in re the teacher asked who went church and i was the only one in the room who did and i was happy to talk about it. also yesterday in maths some of my friends were talking about the bible and believing and i talked to them about God and my beliefs and they were all really intrested.

Our God is a awesome God.

sweet 16!

im 16 today!! its been such a good birthday, one of my best birthdays. everyone has been so lovely. at school the hugs and the presents i recieved. the guys at church and my presents and cards and just all the happy birthdays i have had said to me. its been really special.

for my birthday the two best presents are my pink ipod mini and COLDPLAY tickets!! whooo!!! its been sucha lovely day. i have really enjoyed it, thank you everyone and love you all.

and to kieran - it was great seeing you last night and thank you for my birthday present comment!! hehe. was lovely last night seeing all the soul survivor guys and those who werent there i look forward to seeing soon!!

birthday party!

so i went to pizzahut last night with......

Naomi, Tasha, Hannah, Rob, Daniel, Jessica, Adam, Greg, Tasha p and her mate.

i had such a good night and the memories are going to last for ages. this definatly was one of the bes partys i have had and i enjoyed it so much. i have got some pictures so i will post them at pizzahut my lovely friends had told the waitress about my birthday and tasha had taken a cake in so i had them singing happy birthday to me and bringing out the cake which was lovely and special even though i was embrassed!! after pizzahut we went to comotion for a bit and Steve and Christine came with some of the kurious guys which was cool. so i had a great birthday party and after Tasha, Hannah and Naomi came back to mine and we had some drink hehe.

im 16 tomorrow!!!!

back to school!

had my first day back today and it was really really good! i wasnt looking forward to it like everyone knows but it was great seeing everyone again and the day on the whole was good and went quick. it started by spending the first hour sorting out our timetables and having assmebly. i have the same teachers as last year with one new science teacher as one of my science teachers had left.

guess what my first lesson today was.....HISTORY!!!! with charlie!! but it was great. i walked in and we said the usual "hello u alright." and then he was sitting by me in class so had a little chat then. at the end of the lesson we had 10minutes to spare as we always pack up early in history and i chatted to charlie for those 10mins and nothing has changed. so it was all good and i enjoyed the lesson.

i had prefect duty at break...followed by pe, this was such a laugh as our group is about 10 of us and we had such a laugh talking about our junior sport leadership award. after pe i had science with my new teacher...he is from canada and seems quite nice, he only arrived in europe last week!! and is teaching us for the year. lunch i ate, gave my berlin money in and then prefect duty after lunch had registatration and then maths. maths nothing has changed there, we are all still having jokes!!

so my day was good :+) and im thankful to God for the day been good. the girls toilets have been done up aswell so they are pink and purple and look nice.

Baby Boy

going back!

back to school tomorrow and no i am not looking forward to it! this summer has been so much fun and so relaxing and i know i am going back to school and have to work and concentrate and get ready for my GCSE's! so yeah time to prepare and time to get ready for a hard 8months. will be worth it when it is over though.

miriams dinner was really nice last night, i enjoyed it loads, she is going to be missed by us all so much, i love her loads and will really miss her. i hope miriams flight is safe tomorrow and am praying for her, so mim if you read this, loveya xxxx

the leaders meeting at church last night was really good, i got a lot out of it. TGIS are back on sunday and infinity on monday. new term and some new people but its a fresh start for us all and im praying for everyone

job hunting

well yeah....i am hunting for a saturday job, ive given 10cvs out on friday and now im praying and trusting God with it. i really need a saturday job so that i have me own money and mum has said she would like me to get a saturday job aswell. prayers would be appreciated :+)

i have 3days left of the holiday until back to school, back to work, and back to preparation for GCSES!!! God bless everyone who goes back to school/college/uni this week, i am praying for u. and also for those people who are getting ready to go on new journeys... am praying for u aswell

in ten days im 16! really dont know what to do for me birthday. i want to do something over next weekend but not sure what, any ideas are welcome :+)

stevie's birthday on monday, katies birthday a week sunday, mine and sam's birthday week monday and then in september...... debbies birthday,my bros birthday,emmas birthday and daniels birthday!! lots of birthdays this month and more in october!

i havent done a lot this week...just been out with mates :+) but had a good time. in a week im going to be back at school, to be honest i want to go back and get it over and done with!!
