thank yous and goodbyes!

well u can guess by the title whats coming......

CHARLIE- thank you for all the support and advise over the 2years ive known you, your a awesome person, great mate and a great youth worker, you've done so much for me and others and i am so thankful to you, although im still going to see you at school, it will be different but your always going to be a great mate. i will be praying for u and thats all im going to say....Thank you Charlie

DANIEL- thank you for the advise and support you have always given me but especially this last year. your a great guy and one of me best mates. God is going to use you in a awesome way when u go into your next job and im always going to be praying for u. thanks mate!

MIRIAM-thank you for the love and support ive had from you this past year, its been fantastic getting to know you and become mates with you. good and bad you have been there and the chats we have had about so many different things have been great, il be praying for u as u get ready to go to canada. am going to miss u loads.

KAREN-the love you have given me in the two years ive known you has been awesome, im going to miss you so much, ignite was great and such a laugh. as u go to wales my prayers will be with u and i know God is really going to bless u.

so there the four goodbyes in which i said tonight...however mim and dan havent gone yet, i wanted to write them on this post. thank you guys for all your love and God bless u so much.

i also want to say a massive welcome to Andy, your going to be a great youth worker, getting to know you the last month has been great and your such a awesome guy. i really look forward to working with you over the coming years with the youth work of our church.

so today was hard, a lot of goodbyes and thank yous, but these guys are now going on their next venture and journey with God and my prayers are with each and every one of them xxxx

IGNITE 2005

ignite was so awesome. i loved every min of it :+) the other leaders were great and im def going to keep in touch with them :+) loveya all guys. the young people were awesome and so encoraging.

the young people really inspired me, when praying for each other and just watching them engage with God. one of the girls in my dorm group prayed for me while i was worshipping and it really touched me. the last night all the girls in my dorm group prayed for me and i really felt God. God definatly worked this week and hearing people today talk about what God has done this week for them was so touching and moving. God really put it on my heart to pray for one of the girls in my group at church and i really believe this week she has gone deeper with God. dorm time went well, in the small groups we discuessed a lot and i gave my testomony to the girls. thew talks were awesome, kates talk about armour and the armour God provides really spoke to me and i feel i need to read my bible a lot more and am praying i will do this.

one of the best things at ignite was the oscars. they were so awesome and so funny. wont forget in a hurry daniel or should i say "eminem" and the tatoos! everyone looked goregeous that night and was so wonderful to be a part of it. and charlie and claire - THE INCREDIBLES!!! they dressed up for the oscars and what a laugh it was. the murder mystry was a laugh, steve made me smile dressed in his lil skirt and long hair!

so ignite 2005 was awesome to sum it up. i really felt God work in the place and was pleased to be a part of it. im going to continue to pray for the young people. Baggage the drama i did with Greg and Dan was a laugh, greg did a great job writing the scripts and was such a laugh to work with them. it was great we could get the young people involved aswell.going to waterworld and horseriding was so much fun. the horse i was on went mad when we sang happy birthday to a girl that worked at the stables and i was so scared i was going to fall off!! a few hellos! Christina was a great room mate and such a laugh and a real ***star*** Chris made me laugh so much, hes a real joka. hannah li your fab mate. dan was a great guy and really funny and cool to work with in drama. everyone else i aint mentioned, your all great but we would be here for ever cause if i had time i would list every single leader who came away. also a big thank you to vicky, you were great to lead a dorm with, and are such a encouragement. tasha and fiona - u two are jokas and i love you both. daniel, steve and greg - thank you for our chats in the evenings! mim, i loveya, i have sucha laugh when im with you,DANCE DANCE DANCE!
charlie,mark,kate,claire,hannah and matt - you guys are awesome and did a great job over seeing ignite. and everyone else i loveya all, it was so great meeting you all and i hope to see you all again.

one word - WOW

that sums up soul survivor. it was awesome. i really met with God. the second day the holy spirit really filled me and was amazing, its the most i had been filled before. last night i was feeling pretty crap, not really sure why, i just hadnt had the best of days i guess, but to cut long story short, the holy spirit really worked in me, i was having prayer and the holy spirit let out all the upset and emotion i was feeling and i really felt at peace. the week was fantastic and was great to see everyone really engaging with God, especially those who had come away from God and those who did not know God.

the LCF guys were great and such a laugh and we really did join together as one church for the 5days, all becoming mates and it was a great time and such a pleasure getting to know the LCF guys.

so soul survivor was awesome, have ignite on friday which i hope will be just as awesome and that il be able to serve the kids coming on ignite. xx

off to soul survivor tomorrow! i cant wait, its going to be awesome. just wanted to send a quick post to say i hope everyone is well. im sleeping at hannahs tonight so i wont post again until im back. so take care! xx

holiday!

I will write more now that I am more awake! Well to be honest I only got 4hours sleep! But never mind! I got up and went to church and it was lovely to see everyone, I really missed everyone so much and was really nice being home.

My holiday was really good, the first week my bro and his gf were with us and we spent a lot of time at the pool and beach, which was cool. The evening entertainment was always a laugh! It was really good weather, the staff once again were great and the hotel room was good as we had a balcony with a really lovely view of the beach. The first week flew by and the second week was spent a lot on the beach and a few walks into town. I also was suppose to go on a trip to a evening show the first week, but the coach didn’t turn up to get us and therefore we couldn’t go, but got our money back. The second week I went on another trip – a tour of the island. This was so boring and crap! I thought you would get to get off the coach and look around, we got off the coach 3times and once was to have lunch! The lunch was horrible as well and I left it and was asked by the waiter if I didn’t like it, which was so embarrassing! Made friends with a girl called Emma and some of the waitresses from last year were there and I became friends with one of them :+) the person that I didn’t no if he would be there or not wasn’t, but I had a lot of un-answered questions answered because the waitress I became friends with is friends with him. So now im at peace of mind about it, and so glad ive been trusting God with it. The rest of the second week was spent on the beach. It was a really good break and was nice to get away from home and to have a break but now im so glad to be back.

Come Wednesday and im off to soul survivor. I am so excited about it. I really think its going to be fantastic and a time when we will all engage with God.

had a good time, but glad to be back!

i had a really good holiday, its 4-15am and i have just got home so this will be a quick post to sum up my holiday! it was a relaxing time and enjoyable, it was strange 3days before i left i was in a shop and someone grabbed my arm i turned around and it was my mate katherine from school! i didnt even know she was going to be staying near us! but unfortunatly she went home the next day so we couldn't chill out. il write more later......im going to bed im very tired! hope everyone is well xx
